Booking.com Hotel Reservation Was Misleading and Unacceptable
Hello, I recently booked a hotel in Cyprus through Booking.com based on the appealing photos and clean descriptions provided on the site. However, upon arriving at the hotel, I was utterly shocked. The room they assigned us was nothing like the photos—it was a cramped space with two separate beds in a partitioned area. To make matters worse, they informed us there was no air conditioning!
The misrepresentation was unacceptable, and I decided to cancel the booking. However, I was still charged a cancellation fee despite the hotel's failure to meet the advertised standards. This experience has destroyed my trust in Booking.com. I strongly urge Booking.com to improve its verification process and ensure that listings accurately represent the properties. I demand a refund for the cancellation fee as compensation for this unpleasant experience.
