Booking.com Charged My Card Despite Free Cancellation for New York Grand Central Hotel
I booked a stay at the Grand Central Hotel in New York through Booking.com for October, with a free cancellation option valid until October 18. On August 9, I canceled the reservation within this period, expecting no charges. However, in October, Booking.com unexpectedly charged my card without my permission.
I’ve reached out multiple times via email and phone, providing all documentation that proves the cancellation and the unauthorized charge. Despite this, I have received no refund. To make matters worse, they are now ignoring my emails, and calls are abruptly disconnected. It’s shocking that a company as large as Booking.com would act this way. I simply want my money refunded as promised.
