Booking.com Charged Me for a Canceled Free-Cancellation Hotel



I booked a free-cancellation stay at Hotel Airone in Venice through Booking.com, but at midnight, the hotel attempted to charge my card without my authorization. As soon as I noticed in the morning, I canceled the reservation immediately, and it was successfully marked as canceled.
However, despite the cancellation, the charge still went through, and now it appears on my credit card statement. I tried contacting the hotel, but they are completely unreachable. Booking.com refuses to provide any support, leaving me stuck with an unauthorized charge.
This is completely unacceptable! Booking.com, I demand an immediate refund! If a hotel offers free cancellation, charges like this should never happen! Fix this now!
