Unauthorized Bolt Charge On My Account

On 17 March, a charge of 39.81 was taken from my card ending in 8982 for a transaction described simply as “Bolt”. I have never downloaded the Bolt app, never created an account, and have never used any Bolt services, so this is clearly an unauthorised transaction. After noticing the charge, I immediately contacted my bank, and they advised me to file a dispute for this payment. However, if I proceed with a full dispute, my current bank card will likely need to be deactivated, and I urgently need to use this card on 23 March. For this reason, I am reaching out directly to ask that you urgently investigate this charge, identify how my card was used without my authorisation, and cancel any account or service that may have been opened with my details. I request a full refund of the 39.81 that was taken without my consent, as well as written confirmation of the outcome of your investigation, so that I can avoid having my card cancelled and still be protected against any further unauthorised charges.
