I Was Double Charged by Bolt for One Ride But Only One Fare Shows in the App
I requested a ride through Bolt to get to my school. The fare shown when I booked the trip was ₱69. When I arrived at my destination, I was charged the expected ₱69—but immediately afterward, I noticed an additional charge of ₱76. I checked my Bolt app, and it only shows the ₱69 trip as completed and paid. However, when I checked my bank statement, both amounts—₱69 and ₱76—appear, and they both have the same transaction reference.
This clearly seems like a duplicate or unauthorized charge. I don’t understand how I can be charged twice for a single trip, especially when there is no second ride recorded in the app. I kindly request Bolt to investigate this issue and refund the additional amount that was incorrectly charged. I rely on the transparency of this service and hope this matter is resolved promptly.
