Black+Decker Vacuum Repeats Same Turbo Brush Failure After Repair

I purchased a Black+Decker BHFEV362D-QW 36V cordless stick vacuum from the Vatan Computer store in Amasya on November 30, 2024. The vacuum has developed a malfunction in the turbo head/brush assembly. I submitted the product to an authorized service center under warranty on August 22, 2026. The service center informed me that the battery would be replaced free of charge under the warranty, but claimed that the turbo fan, brush, and related plastic/moving components were not covered by the warranty. They therefore requested a payment of approximately $43 to replace these parts.

There is an important issue that needs to be taken into consideration. The same problem in the turbo fan/brush assembly had already occurred previously, before the previous insurance/warranty coverage expired, and I had already sent the product to the service center because of this malfunction. Although the service center stated that the product had been repaired and returned it to me, the exact same problem has occurred again in the same area. I was also informed that the malfunction in the turbo fan/brush assembly causes the vacuum to operate under excessive strain and results in the battery running out very quickly. Therefore, simply replacing the battery will not permanently resolve the underlying problem.

I do not accept the explanation that these parts are excluded from the warranty simply because they are “plastic and moving parts.” These components are essential for the vacuum to operate normally and safely, and there has been no dropping, impact, breakage, misuse, or unauthorized intervention on my part. The fact that the exact same malfunction occurred again shortly after the product had already been serviced must also be taken into consideration.

For these reasons, I request that the approximately $43 charge for the replacement of these parts be waived and that the turbo fan, brush assembly, and any other components deemed necessary be repaired or replaced free of charge under the warranty. Considering that the same issue has previously been addressed by the service center but has subsequently recurred, I believe this should be treated as a continuing product defect rather than a new user-caused problem.

I request that Vatan Computer and Black+Decker take responsibility for resolving the inconvenience I have experienced, carry out all necessary repairs or replacements, and return the product to me in fully functional condition. I also expect this matter to be resolved fairly and with due consideration for customer satisfaction.
