Roborock S8 Charging Station Not Covered Under Warranty
I have been actively using my Roborock S8 robot vacuum for about 7–8 months, and the product is still under warranty. On November 8, the charging station malfunctioned, and I delivered the product to the Vatan Computer store where I purchased it. On November 18, the authorized service contacted me and informed me that the charging station was not covered under the warranty and that I would need to pay ₺3,838.80 for the repair. The service report was also sent to me. I have used the product under normal conditions without any user error, and this is the first time I have encountered such an issue. I spoke with both Vatan Computer and Roborock customer service, but I was told that “this is the procedure,” and no assistance was provided. Even more affordable brands do not experience such a malfunction in such a short time, and I find it unacceptable that a fee is demanded for a first-time issue with a product I purchased specifically because I trusted the quality and reputation of the Roborock brand. This situation has severely damaged my trust in the brand. I do not accept that the charging station of a product that is still under warranty is excluded from coverage. I request that the charging station be repaired free of charge or that the fee I was asked to pay be refunded.
