Asus Authorized Service Tried To Overcharge Me For Zenfone Repair

17

I'd been a happy user of my Asus Zenfone for years, but when it began to malfunction, I decided to take it to an authorized service center to extend its life. To my surprise, they demanded a 7,000 Turkish Lira repair fee, which is more than three times the price I paid for the device in 2019. I refused to pay such an outrageous sum and turned down the repair request. Unfortunately, my device was never returned to me. When I called the authorized service center, I was told that my device had been returned to me, but I never got it. I even filed a complaint with Asus RMA, but my device has yet to be returned. Despite the negative experience, I got a new device from Asus Turkey. Thank you, Asus Turkey, for assisting me in obtaining my first smartphone!
