Amazon's Customer Service Fails to Fix Poor Quality Shoes

I recently purchased a pair of Skechers shoes from Amazon, shipped internationally. This was my second purchase, as the first one revealed oversized shoes with visible tears. Despite the offer to partially refund, I insisted on an exchange. They suggested, "Return it, and we'll issue a gift balance for the price difference, allowing you to buy a new product." Unfortunately, this information was misleading, and I couldn't proceed. Undeterred, I placed another order, only to find fewer but still noticeable tears on the shoes, along with stitching flaws, and disproportionate and poorly glued craftsmanship. To add to the frustration, I paid more this time. The delivery service claimed detergent spilled in the package, and I received just one pair of shoes—no packaging or box. While I don't fault the courier, Amazon's response has been consistently disappointing, merely advising returns without considering customer satisfaction or providing any compensation. This strategy appears indifferent to customer priorities, leaving people stranded with defective shoes and no effort to make amends. I condemn this approach.
