Amazon Refused Return of Samsung 990 Pro SSD After Asus Liquid Cooler Damaged My PC
I built a PC with components purchased from Amazon, including an Asus ROG Strix LC II 360 ARGB Aura Sync RGB liquid cooler. Unfortunately, the radiator of this liquid cooler malfunctioned and caused damage to the entire system. I requested a return for all the damaged components, and while all other parts were accepted, the return for the Samsung 990 Pro PCIe 4.0 M.2 2TB SSD was denied. The reason given was that the SSD had been used for 32 hours and 412 GB of data had been written. However, this usage occurred during the initial setup of the PC, including testing and installing games, which is part of the normal process for a new build. I have been dealing with this issue for over a month, and since I rely on my PC for work, I urgently need a replacement system. Despite the liquid cooler's failure being the root cause, Amazon has not been able to offer adequate support. As the seller is Amazon itself, I would expect a more prompt resolution, but the process has been slow, leaving me without a functioning computer and a proper solution.
