Amazon Rejected My Return for Puma Future 7 Match Boots

I purchased the Puma Future 7 Match FG/AG football boots on Amazon and used them only during training sessions and matches. However, within just six months, the sole started to come apart, rendering the shoes unusable. I chose this product trusting both the Puma brand and Amazon’s reliability. Customer service specifically assured me that the product would be under warranty for two years as long as there was no intentional damage. Despite this, when I initiated a return request, I was told it was rejected because the product was “overused.” I find this excuse arbitrary and contrary to Consumer Rights—after all, what’s more natural than using football boots for their intended purpose? These boots were made to be worn, not displayed. Their rapid deterioration is clearly a quality issue. Amazon’s refusal to honor the warranty and failure to support the product completely disregards customer satisfaction. Furthermore, being told it was covered and then having that assurance revoked has severely damaged my trust. As an Amazon Prime member, I do not accept this treatment. This situation does not align with either Puma’s reputation or Amazon’s guarantee. I demand a reassessment of the product and a rightful replacement without further delay.
