65-inch Grundig TV From Amazon Order Not Fulfilled, Price Changed
I planned to buy a 65-inch Grundig TV from Amazon.com during the November sale, which took place on November 26 and 27. However, despite several attempts to complete the order, I ran into a problem that stopped the purchase. When I called Amazon's customer service at 9:45 a.m. on November 27 to ask for help, I was told that there was a general problem that was affecting some customers. They told me that the mistake would be fixed in 48 hours. I was also told that if the price of the product went up before the problem was fixed, I would not have to pay the higher price. The price of the same item on Amazon went up to 23500 on December 1, which was disappointing. This affected the item I had in my cart. When I called Amazon's customer service a third time on December 1 at 17:16, I told them about the problem and the promises they had made before. In contrast to the other times I talked to them, this time the representative said the problem was unique to the product and there was no set date for when it would be fixed. In addition, they denied any promise to stop people from being harmed because the price of the product went up. This experience not only cost me money, but it also made people doubt my loyalty as a customer. Trust is an important part of business, and Amazon's failure to uphold it is disappointing. If Amazon breaches customer trust, it could lose not just one customer today, but thousands in the future as well. As a customer who has been ripped off, I want to stress that being honest and earning customers' trust are more important for a business than making money.
