Amazon Refused to Refund Price Difference for My Philips Iron
On November 1, 2024, I purchased a Philips iron from Amazon for ₺4399. The product was listed under the Prime Opportunity category, which promised a refund of the price difference if the product's price dropped in November. On November 16, the price dropped to ₺4139, so I contacted customer service the same day. I followed up twice and was assured the difference would be refunded by December 20. When no refund was issued by that date, I reached out to customer service again. I was told the system would identify it automatically, but sometimes it could be overlooked, and a review would be opened. Despite this, I received no response. On December 24, I called again and was told the system couldn't be manually adjusted. Each interaction yielded a different explanation, and despite meeting all the conditions, my request was denied. I trusted Amazon but feel let down by this experience.
