Amazon Promised a Refund for My TCL TV Price Difference but Did Not Pay

I purchased a 50-inch TCL TV from Amazon. Since a pixel defect was detected, a service report was issued, and I returned the TV. Later, I contacted Amazon customer service, stating that I wanted to reorder the same product, but I noticed that the price had increased, which put me at a disadvantage. The representative assured me that they would cover the price difference and that once the TV arrived, I should contact them and mention the "price difference promise," after which the amount would be refunded to my card. I placed the order, but the TV arrived with a torn box, so I immediately returned it and received a refund. Before placing another order, I explained the situation to customer service again, and they told me to proceed with confidence, assuring me that the price difference would be refunded. However, after receiving the TV and contacting customer service, I was informed that I had been given incorrect information and that no such refund would be issued. This was confirmed both in writing and verbally, and they simply suggested that I return the product again. It is unacceptable for a company as large as Amazon to break its promises. Without further delay, I am sharing the written exchanges as proof and warning others who plan to shop from Amazon. I was misled and wasted my time.
