Aliexpress Sold Me a Defective OCHSTIN Watch and Fake Xiaomi Flash Drive

In December, I purchased a few items from the AliExpress shopping site. One of them was an OCHSTIN men's wristwatch from a store called OCH Boutique Store, and the other was a 16 TB Xiaomi flash drive from Super Factory Digitaling Store. The watch's back cover is defective and won’t close properly. I live in İzmir and took it to a well-known watch repair shop, but they couldn’t fix it either, saying the cover and the case are incompatible and that the watch itself isn’t of good quality. I tried to contact the seller using Alibaba’s translation tool to explain the situation, but they kept stalling and offered no solution. The flash drive arrived without any brand markings, invoice, or documentation, despite the product listing clearly showing it as a Xiaomi 16 TB drive. I contacted the seller regarding this as well, and they only responded with vague messages like "We work with that company." I insisted on receiving the original product or returning it, but the last message I received on December 26, 2024, simply said, "Be patient and wait." Since then, I have received no further response. I also learned that if you request a refund, they do not return the full amount, deducting taxes and other fees, leaving you with nearly half of what you paid. If they agree to send a replacement, you still have to pay customs duties and shipping fees, which amount to nearly half the product’s price. Moreover, there are no invoices for the items. All notifications and correspondence regarding my purchases are saved in my email and on my AliExpress account. I have been left stranded due to the products I purchased from this site, and my complaints are not being addressed, nor do I expect they will be. I decided to share my experience here on Xolvie to inform others. I am filing a complaint against AliExpress.
