We lost ₺35,000 through a booking made on Airbnb, and despite all efforts, we have been unable to reach any authorized representative for support. This is an incredibly serious issue, and we urgently need someone from Airbnb to contact us and explain what happened and how this will be resolved.
After doing some research, we realized that many other people have faced similar losses, and it’s clear that Airbnb’s security measures are not strong enough to protect users from financial risk. At this point, we feel completely unprotected and helpless.
This situation has caused us major financial and emotional distress. We demand an immediate investigation, a clear explanation of the cause, and a full refund of the ₺35,000 we lost. Airbnb must take full responsibility for the gaps in its platform that allowed this to happen, and implement better safeguards to prevent future victims. We expect urgent action—this cannot be ignored.
