Airbnb Overcharged Me by ₺478.17 – I Need a Refund Now
I booked a stay through Airbnb and the total cost was ₺23,388.25, which I planned to pay in two installments. The first payment was supposed to be ₺13,388.25, but my credit card was charged ₺13,866.42 instead.
I am requesting an immediate refund of the extra ₺478.17, but I am unable to find a Turkish-speaking customer support representative to assist me. This lack of accessible support is causing unnecessary frustration and inconvenience.
I demand that Airbnb refund the overcharged amount as soon as possible and improve its customer service to prevent such issues from happening again. I expect a prompt resolution.
The issue turned out to be related to the bank. The bank charges an exchange rate difference when making a withdrawal, and you need to call the bank to request a refund of the exchange rate difference.
