Airbnb Host Approved My Late Booking, Then Refused Check-In and Left Me Stranded
Around 11:00 PM, I made a reservation on Airbnb after receiving clear confirmation from the host that I could book the property. The host was fully aware of the time and still approved the booking. However, as soon as I completed the reservation and paid—using the last of my ₺—the host suddenly claimed that check-in ends at 11:00 PM and refused to let me in.
I was left completely stranded in an unfamiliar place with nowhere to go, despite doing everything by the rules and communicating openly. I immediately reached out to Airbnb for help and requested a refund, but I haven’t received a resolution yet.
Airbnb, this is unacceptable. You must hold hosts accountable for misleading communication. I demand a full refund and urge anyone who has experienced something similar to speak up. This kind of treatment puts travelers at risk and must be addressed urgently.
