I made a reservation on Airbnb, and the amount I was supposed to be charged was clearly stated as ₺52,214. However, when I checked my bank account, I saw that Airbnb had withdrawn ₺54,502 instead. That’s a ₺2,288 difference, which was never disclosed or authorized.
Even the confirmation message I received from Airbnb before the transaction confirmed that the charge would be ₺52,214. Yet, the amount reflected in my account is significantly higher. This is unacceptable, especially from a global platform that’s supposed to be transparent about pricing.
I demand that Airbnb immediately refund the ₺2,288 overcharge and provide a proper explanation for this discrepancy. I shouldn’t have to chase down unexpected charges for a service I already paid for in full.
