Cancelation, No Refund, Agoda's Support Responds With Generic Replies

Hi. this is the second day I'm trying to get a clear answer from Agoda support regarding my booking in Bratislava 26-29 March 2025. First, I was told that the cancellation was due to a mistake by Booking.com staff. Then, a new version appeared – as if the apartment tried to charge me extra money for unclear reasons. Supposedly, an Agoda employee notified me about this by email, but I never received any email. Because of this, my reservation was canceled without my consent. Meanwhile, the hotel insists that they did not charge any extra fees, did not cancel the booking, and that Agoda claims the opposite – that I canceled it myself. Why lie? Next, my card was charged ₺5,655.71, And only ₺46.48 was refunded. So where is the missing ₺5,459.61? The cancellation happened 2 days before check-in. To avoid spending the night at the train station, I had to rebook the same hotel—but at a higher price. On top of that, the hotel sent a request for a €100 deposit for potential damages, which was never mentioned in Agoda’s advertisement. What kind of service is this?
I continue to receive dismissive responses. I have been communicating with Agoda support for the 2-nd day trying to solve the issue created by Agoda, and if the answers had been timely and relevant, there would be no need to complain to third-party organizations. You can provide support in either English or Russian – I understand both. The important thing is that the responses are not dismissive ones, but an actual solution to my issue
