Agoda Double-Charged for Canceled Prague Hotel Reservation
In October, I booked a hotel in Prague through Agoda for November 12-14. Initially, the reservation was confirmed, but I later received an email stating the transaction failed due to a system error. When I checked Agoda’s website, it showed the reservation as canceled, so I booked another hotel through a different site.
However, upon checking my bank account, I noticed that the payment had been processed by Agoda. To make matters more confusing, when I contacted the hotel directly, they confirmed that my reservation was still active. The Agoda site displays both a canceled and an active reservation for the same dates at the same hotel.
Despite this system error, I am unable to reach anyone to resolve the issue. I urgently request that Agoda correct this and process my refund immediately.
