Agoda Reservation Misled Me With English-Only Terms – Refund Denied

I booked a hotel through Agoda, but the special conditions for the room were written only in English, which I didn’t notice. As a result, I couldn’t meet the hotel’s requirements, and they requested a refund on my behalf. However, since the non-refundable option was selected, I lost my money over an issue that wasn’t my fault.

While Agoda offers Turkish language support on its site, there’s no Turkish-speaking customer service available. I couldn’t find anyone to address my concerns, leaving me frustrated and without a resolution.

I demand a refund for this issue caused by Agoda’s unclear policies. Agoda needs to improve its communication and ensure all terms are accessible in the customer’s preferred language.

"I received a call from a Hong Kong-based phone number. The caller tried to assist me very easily in clear English. They informed me that they refunded the full amount. Thank you. This conversation was smooth, but establishing a more accessible call center with Turkish-speaking staff would provide much better and faster service for resolving future issues. Thanks again.
