Adobe Creative Cloud Charged Me Early and Won’t Let Me Cancel
On February 24, 2026, I signed up through Adobe’s website for the Creative Cloud Pro subscription under a promotion advertised as a “14-day free trial.” During registration, the payment screen only included a note stating that “you will be charged if you do not cancel within 14 days.” However, Adobe started the billing cycle at the same time as the trial period and charged my card $51 before the trial period had even begun.
When I checked the billing end date in my account to make sure I could cancel before the trial ended, the system displayed a date that was extended by an additional 15 days beyond the trial period. This creates the misleading impression that the free trial is still ongoing when, in reality, it has already expired. As a result, users are effectively locked into an annual plan, and when they attempt to cancel, they are charged nearly the full yearly fee as a penalty. In my case, I am being asked to pay $280 as a cancellation fee. My order number is AB06897902951ctr.
Although Adobe may attempt to legally protect itself by placing small disclaimers throughout the page, this practice is clearly misleading to consumers and results in unfair charges. Additionally, I am not satisfied with the Creative Cloud applications due to frequent errors and slow performance, and I no longer wish to use this service.
Therefore, I am requesting that my Creative Cloud Pro subscription be canceled immediately without any penalty, that the $280 cancellation fee be completely removed, and that no new charges or invoices be applied on March 24, 2026.
