My Adidas Boost Shoe Tore During Cleaning and They Refused to Take Responsibility

My Adidas Boost Shoe Tore During Cleaning and They Refused to Take Responsibility
May 4, 2025 8:47 PM23

Between November 18, 2024, and March 14, 2025, I wore my Adidas Boost running shoes regularly and expected long-term performance from such a well-known brand. But during a basic cleaning routine, the side of the shoe tore apart and started breaking down. I sent the shoes to Adidas through Boyner for inspection, expecting a fair evaluation.

Instead, Adidas claimed the damage was not their responsibility and denied my request for support, stating there was no manufacturing defect. But how does a premium performance shoe fall apart just from gentle cleaning? Is that the customer’s fault—or a sign of poor material quality and lack of durability?

I’m frustrated and disappointed that Adidas refuses to take ownership of this issue. The damage is clearly not due to misuse, and it’s unacceptable that they’ve done nothing to resolve my situation.
