Adidas Pro Bounce 2018 Quality Concerns

I just bought a high-end pair of basketball shoes from Adidas. After only a week of wearing it, the left side of my foot began to hurt and feel uncomfortable. I looked at the shoe and saw that the sole was worn out, so I took it and the receipt back to the store to be looked at. To my surprise, Adidas sent back the shoes with a letter denying any responsibility that said the damage was caused by improper use or lack of care. They seem to think that after 41 years of wearing shoes, I still don't know how to put them on right, and they say that I must have been wearing them on my arm or head. It's silly to think that putting the left pair, which is size 41, on display could hurt anything. It seems like they don't care that selling shoes with bad soles could be dangerous to your health. This is a bad situation for Adidas. Even if a brand is well-known, that doesn't mean it's good, and the Pro Bounce 2018 performance series is a clear problem.
