FlyOne Charged Me €110 for Check-In and Baggage Without Clear Notice

On January 10, 2026, I traveled on a FlyOne flight from Istanbul to Chisinau departing at 10:40 AM. During the check-in process at the airport, I was unexpectedly required to pay a total of €110 for my 17 kg checked bag and check-in services. Since I needed to complete my travel, I had no choice but to pay the amount requested.

At no point during the ticket purchase process, nor afterward through email or SMS, was I clearly informed about these baggage and check-in fees. When I asked the airport staff about the charges, they explained that the fees would have been significantly lower if I had completed the necessary procedures online. However, they also acknowledged that I had not been properly informed of this requirement beforehand.

As a result, I ended up paying a much higher amount than I otherwise would have paid had clear and transparent information been provided in advance. I believe this lack of communication and transparency created an unfair situation and caused unnecessary financial loss.

I respectfully request that FlyOne review the €110 charged to me and provide a partial refund for the excessive portion of the fee. In addition, I ask the airline to improve its customer communication regarding baggage and check-in requirements so that other passengers do not encounter the same issue in the future.

I would appreciate a written response explaining the basis of these charges and the outcome of my refund request.
