Zara Metromall Fitting Room Staff Treat Customers Rudely
Today, about one hour ago, I had an extremely uncomfortable experience in the fitting room area of the Zara Metromall store. I was shopping with my mother and trying on clothes while asking for her opinion. However, the fitting room staff tried to force my mother to leave the fitting room area. Even though we are both women, the employees spoke to us in an extremely rude, scolding, and commanding manner, using phrases like “do this,” “do that,” “go in,” “come out,” and “hurry up.” This behavior was both hurtful and created a very tense atmosphere.
The attitude of the fitting room staff was so harsh and disrespectful that I felt less like a customer shopping and more like someone being given military-style commands. When we tried to express our discomfort about their tone and behavior, they appeared ready to escalate the situation and turn it into an argument. Speaking to customers in this manner is completely unacceptable.
Additionally, the fitting room curtains do not fully close, making the inside visible from the outside and causing customers to feel uncomfortable. Because of this lack of privacy, many people feel forced to bring someone with them to protect their personal space. I believe that both these physical conditions and the staff’s behavior need to be corrected urgently. I request that the employees working specifically in the fitting room area at Zara Metromall be warned about proper customer communication, receive the necessary training on respectful and courteous behavior, and that the fitting room curtains be fixed to ensure full privacy. I expect this issue to be taken seriously and that appropriate steps be taken to prevent a similar situation from happening again.
