Complaint About A Zara Employee's Disrespectful Behavior
On 23.03.2025, at around 20:15, I visited the Zara İzmir Forum Bornova store and wanted to try on a coat that I liked. Since I was not appropriately dressed to try it on in a public area, I decided to check how it looked on me in the mirror located in the fitting room section, without actually entering a fitting cabin. At that moment, an employee named İ****r (a woman) spoke in an extremely harsh and disrespectful manner, loudly saying, "YOU CANNOT TRY IT ON HERE!", "PLEASE STEP OUT!", "WE DO NOT ALLOW OUTERWEAR TO BE TRIED ON HERE!", "I AM TALKING TO YOU!" Without giving me a chance to explain my situation, she repeatedly shouted, putting me in an uncomfortable position in the store. Even after I explained that I was not properly dressed and was not entering a fitting room, she responded in a rude manner, saying, "THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE SAID THAT!" Meanwhile, another employee tried to de-escalate the situation. Other customers in the store watched in shock. Although I reported this incident to the store management, I did not get the impression that the employee was warned or held accountable for her behavior. I believe that employees in a brand like Zara should treat customers with more respect and understanding. I am reporting this issue to ZARA TURKEY management and request that the necessary actions be taken. For your information.
