I had an uncomfortable experience at the Zara store in Piazza Mall Maltepe, which is known for being a pet-friendly mall, while walking around with my pet on June 18, 2023, around 18:30. I was bothered by the treatment I received regarding my pet. Despite going through the security checkpoint where they checked if my dog belonged to a banned breed and even though my dog does not require a muzzle, the Zara staff insisted that I put a muzzle on my dog. When I expressed my refusal, they rudely showed me the door, as if to say "goodbye."While other stores in the mall, especially those selling food products, display signs stating that pets are not allowed, Zara store had no such signs or warnings. I am puzzled as to why this attitude was displayed towards me and my pet among so many customers, especially when Zara's brand policy does not indicate such behavior. If there is no such policy, then on what basis does their staff believe they have the right to act this way? Is Zara an animal-unfriendly company?
