Zara Store Manager Treated Me Rudely and Rejected My Defective Items

On 23 August 2025, I had a very unpleasant experience at the Zara store located in Samsun Piazza Mall. I brought in a pair of trousers I had previously purchased, which became loose after wearing, along with a recently bought suit that I had only worn once but noticed a stitching defect. The staff member who introduced himself as the store manager, Mr. K***, handled the situation in a very harsh and dismissive manner. He glanced at the items and said things like “this one is okay, this one is not,” in a condescending tone. When I pointed out that the buttons of my linen vest were coming loose due to stitching issues, he bluntly refused to accept it, saying “no, I don’t accept this.” When I insisted, he continued speaking to me in a stern manner. I explained that in a corporate company customers should not be treated this way. He then asked me where I worked, claimed he worked for the same company, and continued addressing me in an arrogant and superior attitude. At one point, he even said: “Go ahead and complain about me to consumer rights.” Even worse, while I was in the fitting room, I overheard him gossiping about me with another colleague, in front of both staff and customers. This was extremely humiliating and disrespectful. I want to emphasize that I am not a customer who abuses return policies or tries to misuse exchanges. I trust your brand and shop in good faith. I even told him that if needed, I could repurchase the exchanged items. However, I received no understanding, no empathy, and not even an apology. Instead, throughout the process I was treated rudely, in front of both employees and other customers. I believe this behavior does not reflect the standards of a global and corporate brand like Zara. I kindly request that this incident be investigated and an appropriate response be provided.

I haven't received any response.
