Xiaomi Asked a Hefty Repair Fee for 9A Smartphone

I bought a Xiaomi phone six months ago, and it no longer charges, so I sent it to the Istanbul byfix service center. Customer service called the next day to inform me that two drops of liquid had come into contact with the phone, causing oxidation. They demanded a 1,800 TL repair fee for a phone that had originally cost 2,500 TL. I informed them that I would not be paying that amount and asked for a refund, but they demanded 350 TL from me. People drop their phones in the toilet and continue to use them, but the company refuses to honor the warranty and instead seeks excuses to avoid covering the repairs. Avoid these devices at all costs because Xiaomi does not support its products. I don't even want a response; when the phone rings, I'll throw it away. I am not happy with both the phone and the service I received. It is unjust for a company to charge such a high fee for such a simple problem. This experience has made me wonder if I should ever buy another Xiaomi product.
