I sent my original Xbox Series X console to warranty service because it was overheating. Instead of repairing and returning my own device, Microsoft informed me of their policy to send a refurbished replacement unit. I reluctantly accepted this, trusting the replacement would be fully functional.
Unfortunately, the first replacement console had constant game crashes, kicking me back to the home screen. I returned that device for service as well, hoping the next one would be properly tested. But shockingly, the second replacement unit also had severe hardware issues—during gameplay, random red and green tones appeared on the screen, making it unplayable.
I contacted the international Xbox support team, and they confirmed it was a hardware defect. Now, I am forced to send the console back for a third time. I cannot understand how a company like Microsoft continues to send defective replacement units under warranty. It is unacceptable that products are shipped to customers without proper performance and quality testing. At this point, I seriously suspect they are knowingly sending faulty refurbished units.
If the next (third) replacement unit also arrives defective, I will escalate this matter to all necessary consumer protection authorities and pursue legal action. A global brand like Microsoft should not offer such poor warranty service. I expect Microsoft to resolve this issue urgently by providing a fully functional, quality-tested console and to issue an apology for the repeated inconvenience caused.
