I purchased my WMF kettle about five years ago, and recently it developed a malfunction. When I took it to the service center, I was told that the thermostat was faulty, but the part is no longer produced and therefore cannot be replaced. However, the fact that the same model is still being sold while its spare parts are unavailable could not be explained logically. Instead, I was only offered a 25% discount on a new product.
I applied to the authorized service center in Samsun İlkadım with service receipt number 131 dated 22.11.2025. It is not reassuring from a brand standpoint that a product which has been in use for years—and is still on the market—does not have such an essential spare part available. I did not expect this from a brand that manufactures household appliances.
To resolve my grievance, I request that my kettle be replaced with a new one free of charge.
