WMF Toaster - Fire Hazard and Warranty Issues
I have experienced a serious issue with my WMF toaster, where flames erupted from the back connections of the plate. When I brought the product in for service, I was informed that it was purchased three years ago and that the warranty is only two years. Therefore, they could not replace it with a new product. To make matters worse, I was told that there are no spare parts available for repair.
Instead of addressing the situation, WMF offered a ridiculous solution: a 25% discount on a new product, which now costs between ₺2000 and ₺10000, despite the fact that I had already paid a premium for their product. I am planning to take this matter to the Consumer Arbitration Board because they are not even providing a written statement regarding my complaint.
I urgently await a response to resolve this issue. Thank you.
