My Vestel Refrigerator Stopped Working After Only 4 Years

My four-year-old Vestel refrigerator broke down. Since the warranty expired a year ago, I was told it couldn't be repaired and that a gas test would be performed for ₺2500. Based on the test results, they said I could buy a new refrigerator at a discount. So far, that’s understandable. But here's the issue: I've been searching for this refrigerator model in the market, and it's barely available—likely no longer in production. I’ve read many complaints about this model too. If it's discontinued, shouldn't Vestel offer a proper solution? Or are we expected to switch to another brand? I purchased all my household appliances from Vestel, down to the microwave. Now, they all feel worthless to me. If my refrigerator became useless in just four years, it’s likely the rest won’t last much longer either.

Can you believe the process is still ongoing? They quoted a price of 24,000 and want a single payment, plus they only offer a 2-year warranty for the new product. Is this reasonable? Almost every brand in the market offers products with the same features and capacity for 25,000-35,000, with a 3-year warranty and 7-10 installment options. Vestel is not helping at all. I tell them they are not standing behind their product, they say they are, but there is no response. I keep calling insistently, all records are supposed to be kept as they always say, but there is no follow-up or solution. I haven't been able to use a refrigerator for over a month. I told them all this, they said they would recalculate. I ask how long I have to wait, they say they can't give a date. I ask how many business days, 7 or 10, they say it's unclear. So, do you think I should buy Vestel again? For those about to get married, read the complaints first before deciding which brand to buy. They ruined two of my products. My 4-year-old refrigerator became junk, and the TV I bought at the same time, which was supposed to have YouTube.com, stopped working after 2 years. Now the TV doesn't have YouTube.com. So what are we paying for if you don't solve these issues? If I have to keep spending money, I’ll switch to another brand with a brand new product—there are brands that offer a 10-year motor warranty...

*Update* Let me update: Vestel still hasn't gotten back to me, they keep saying they will, I've called forty times and managed to talk to someone with difficulty. Then they tried to act superior and said, 'We already spoke with you.' Let's say I don't remember (which is impossible, I haven't lost my mind yet), I even argued with them saying, 'You have the voice recording, right? Play it and listen, did you really talk to me?' I don't want to go into too much detail, but honestly, they don't stand behind their products and never care. So what was the outcome? I gave up on Vestel, which offers zero customer service and product warranty despite a 2-year warranty and paying 24,000, and bought a new, bigger fridge with a 4-year warranty for 30,000 instead. As another result, I also convinced two people around me who were about to buy a fridge not to get Vestel (they don't let me write insults, but you get what I mean). So they've lost two more customers. That's how it goes—they say, 'What difference does one person make?' but now it's three. As this issue comes up, I'll keep mentioning it, and I'm writing it here too: I absolutely do not recommend buying (they don't accept the wording as it's considered insulting, but you get it). As I said, the product is fine while it works, but once it breaks, you can't reach customer service. There are three really good brands with motor warranties and such, stick with them. I said, 'Vestel is a Turkish brand,' and furnished my whole house with it, but my money went to waste in four years...
