Vestel Asked Me to Pay for Replacement of My NFK54002 Faulty Fridge

My Vestel NFK54002 refrigerator has not been cooling for about 20 days. After the issue occurred, I contacted Vestel authorized service, and my refrigerator was taken in for inspection. The examination revealed that it was a factory defect, but since the warranty had expired only 14 days earlier, I was offered a new refrigerator for around ₺18,000. I had purchased the refrigerator from Hatay Altınözü, and this is the first time I have faced such a problem. I do not accept being charged despite the warranty expiring just shortly before and the defect being acknowledged as a factory fault. I demand that Vestel resolve my grievance and replace my refrigerator free of charge. Vestel itself admits it is a factory defect, and I see no reason why I should pay for a refrigerator I bought only three years ago when the problem is not customer-related. They said there was a gas leak in a part of the refrigerator that cannot be replaced. Even though they acknowledged it as a factory defect, they are still demanding payment. The warranty expired only 14 days ago, and the only sign on the panel was an exclamation mark. The refrigerator belongs to my father, who is retired, and what Vestel has done here is unacceptable.
