Turkish Airlines TK 185 Lost Luggage Delayed by 48 Hours
On Tuesday, April 30th, I flew from Istanbul to Chicago with my sister on Turkish Airlines flight TK 185. However, at the end of the flight, neither my sister's nor my four suitcases arrived. The authorities informed us that our luggage remained in Istanbul and would arrive on a later flight. Unfortunately, our suitcases arrived one by one on different flights, and we only received them 48 hours later. We had to shop for essential items (like underwear) and make three trips to the airport for each arriving flight. Given that we only had 72 hours to spend in Chicago, spending 48 hours without our luggage put us in a very difficult situation. Therefore, we request financial compensation for our inconvenience.
Turkish Airlines The response given for my delayed luggage. THY requested documents and a report 15 days later. However, 15 days after that, they said I had written the complaint to the wrong place and sent a different link. But notifications can only be made to the link they sent within 21 days. Due to their one-month response time, the process has expired.
