Turkish Airlines Flight Cancellation Problem

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the recent events surrounding my flight, TK006, scheduled for December 11 at 8:30 CST, from O'Hare International Airport (ORD) to Istanbul Airport (IST). Upon arriving at the airport, my travel party and I experienced a series of unexpected disruptions. After checking in and boarding the plane, we were asked to remain on the aircraft for approximately 1 hour without any explanation. Subsequently, we were asked to disembark and faced an additional 2 to 3 hours of waiting at the gate area before being informed that the flight was canceled. The process that followed, involving long lines and delays, led to further inconvenience. We had to wait in line to provide our information at the desk and were later informed about the cancellation. The subsequent efforts to collect our luggage and the extensive wait times on the phone to secure an alternative flight only added to the challenges we faced. Due to these unforeseen circumstances, my two-day vacation was effectively wasted. In addition to the emotional toll, there were financial implications, including the money spent on transportation to and from the airport, as well as expenses incurred while at the airport. In accordance with your terms and conditions, I kindly request compensation for the inconvenience, loss of vacation time, and any additional costs incurred due to the cancellation. I have attached relevant documents, such as my booking confirmation, receipts for additional expenses, and any other supporting documentation.
