Turkish Airlines Ticket Sold to Another Person, 9 Hours Delay
Hello, I had a flight with Turkish Airlines on 03/07/2024 from Istanbul Airport, flying from Istanbul to Sivas. When I went to the domestic terminal at Istanbul Airport with the ticket I bought from the Obilet website at 08:25 in the morning, I learned that my ticket had been sold to another person by Turkish Airlines despite being issued. I had a wedding to attend at 12 and important documents to deliver. They issued me a ticket for the 17:00 flight, and with the delay of more than 9 hours due to the unauthorized ticket sale, I was greatly inconvenienced. As a result, a female official at Turkish Airlines gave us a ticket as compensation, but this issue caused significant disruptions to our important plans. We missed the wedding and couldn't complete the document tasks, causing us a lot of trouble. I am requesting a refund for the gift ticket provided. Turkish Airlines employees (staff at Istanbul Airport) told me that the gift ticket could be refunded and the amount could be given to me. Based on this, I am requesting a refund for the gift ticket as stated in the attached document. I demand that my grievance be addressed. When I called customer service, they told me that they would look into the feedback and asked me to fill out a form. I filled out and sent the necessary document, but I received no response, no calls. I was greatly inconvenienced and want this resolved. I request Turkish Airlines to resolve my issue.
