My mother, Za****, with ID number 1130****8 and reservation code Tivuf5, had her flights from Esenboğa to Koca Seyit on October 18 and from Koca Seyit to Esenboğa on October 25 rescheduled to October 20 and October 27, respectively. Due to this change, there is now a price difference of 1250₺ between the price we originally paid and the current ticket price, and we were not informed about this during the change process.
When we contacted customer service for a full refund, we were told that a void transaction could be done. However, while the refund was processed for the two other passengers who booked together with us, my mother’s refund was not processed because her ticket was purchased with a disability discount and they claimed it could not be refunded on the same screen. Despite multiple follow-ups and marking the issue as urgent, we have not received a resolution. Our jointly purchased tickets are now split, and my mother, who has a disability report, is left alone on the flight, causing significant inconvenience.
The ticket that was originally sold for 2250₺ is now being sold for 1000₺, and we were not informed about this during the change process. Additionally, the flight was not just rescheduled by a few hours but by a full two days, causing further inconvenience for passengers regarding their accommodations. If our issue is not resolved, I will file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee and seek compensation for the financial losses incurred due to the two-day delay.
