Turkish Airlines Ticket Change Issue
I purchased a ticket from Turkish Airlines for my mother for the date 15.08.2023. Before receiving the ticket, my mother had a heart attack and is now in intensive care at the hospital. I called customer service, explained the situation to Turkish Airlines' customer service, and asked if we had any chance to postpone the ticket. They asked for a fee of ₺415 for postponement and said it would be deducted from the price paid at the time of purchase. Since my mother is in critical condition, I couldn't pay it. I traveled from Sivas to Malatya, then took a flight from Malatya to Istanbul. This situation is really absurd, why are you doing this? Why are you putting people in a difficult situation?
I don't know what to do with the ticket before my mother passes away. The same thing happened to me 2 months ago. I am an earthquake survivor, I was living in Malatya and then moved to Sivas. I wanted to issue 3 tickets, but by mistake, my credit card was charged for Malatya-Istanbul. I called customer service and said I wanted to change it to Sivas, they asked for a change fee of ₺900. This situation causes people to suffer, shame on you. This is really a malicious situation, don't do this. Do not put people in a difficult situation.
