Turkish Airlines Ticket Cancellation Without My Knowledge
I am filing a complaint about a ticket I purchased on August 30th. I bought a ticket from Turkish Airlines (THY), and when I arrived at the airport, I was told that my ticket was put on hold because my ID did not have a photo. They said I had 10 days to resolve this issue. After fixing my ID, I contacted them again only to be told that my ticket had been canceled, and instead of a refund of ₺2,500 (for two people), I received only ₺25. Additionally, I want to mention that I was in Ardahan, and the airport was in Kars. We traveled there, and the transportation cost was ₺130 per person, totaling ₺520 for the round trip. In total, more than ₺3,000 was wasted, and we were unnecessarily put in a difficult situation. I urge Turkish Airlines (THY) to consider my message. Otherwise, I will take this matter to court.
