Turkish Airlines Separated My Kids and Me on Flight Despite Reserved Seats

I never expected this from Turkish Airlines, and I can't understand how they were voted the best airline in Europe. I purchased tickets for a round trip from Munich to Ordu (18.08.2024 - 26.08.2024) for myself and my two children, aged 9 and 11. I reserved our seats in advance, but we were not given our reserved seats on either the outbound or return flights.
While checking in at Ordu, my children were assigned separate seats far apart—one in the front rows, one in the back, and I was placed somewhere in the middle. They told me the plane was full and there was nothing they could do. After a lengthy discussion and only when I raised my voice, they finally seated my children next to me. Initially, they claimed there was nothing they could do, but somehow managed to seat my kids together when I insisted. However, the seats I originally reserved were still not honored.
Once on board, a flight attendant went around asking passengers if they could move to different seats. Another passenger with a small child was also given separate seats. I hope that passenger also files a complaint. Turkish Airlines is clearly not doing their job properly and is causing undue stress and inconvenience to passengers. I've already filed a complaint with the Verbraucherzentrale in Germany. Even lesser-known airlines operate in a more organized manner than this.
