Turkish Airlines Rize-Istanbul Flight Cancellation
On June 20, 2024, the 08:40 Rize-Istanbul flight was delayed twice and then it was learned that the plane landed in Trabzon instead of Rize and was subsequently canceled. Passengers were then transported to Trabzon by airport shuttles. The flight, which was supposed to depart from Rize at 08:40, was delayed until 12:40 and still had not taken off. Despite a four-hour delay, no water or food was provided. We had a connecting flight to Antalya after the Istanbul flight. This flight was rescheduled to 15:10, and it is still uncertain whether we will make it. We are planning a vacation with the two days off we get annually, which we will pay for over a year. We wasted one of these days due to Turkish Airlines' lack of planning. Beyond the high ticket price that Turkish Airlines charges for its so-called quality, I want compensation for the ₺10,000 per day hotel fee that I am paying.
