Turkish Airlines Refund Issue for Chicago Round-Trip Ticket
I purchased a round-trip ticket to Chicago from Turkish Airlines. Wanting to ensure a refund in case of cancellation, I called Turkish Airlines. The representative I spoke with informed me that I needed to buy a Prime Fly ticket to get a full refund. Trusting this information, I bought the tickets. However, when I requested a refund for my return ticket, they informed me that they could only refund a much lower amount than what I paid. Despite paying over ₺20,000, they sent me an email stating they could only refund ₺13,748.75. After providing feedback, I am left wondering what this is about? I took a screenshot when purchasing the ticket. On that day, the cheapest flight was ₺15,424.75, so how can my chosen Prime Fly ticket be cheaper than an economy class ticket? I spent over an hour on the phone, but they claim they can't view the tickets. They misled me with incorrect information about the full refund. Now, they're not offering any solution! I am very dissatisfied with this situation. If this issue is not resolved, I will take this matter to the Consumer Rights Court! I will attach the screenshot.
