Turkish Airlines Neither Canceled Our Ticket Nor Changed It To Open Ticket

Two days before our Turkish Airlines flight with PNR S5WT3C, we couldn't make our flight on March 17th due to the passing of my aunt and my spouse's aunt on March 15th. We had to purchase a new ticket to fly to Ordu-Giresun. Originally, our flight was scheduled for March 15th at 14:00, but Turkish Airlines changed the flight time to 18:35, causing us to miss a hospital appointment on the same day. Consequently, we rescheduled our tickets for March 17th. Despite the delay caused by Turkish Airlines, which we did not complain about, our tickets were neither canceled nor put on hold due to the bereavement, leading to a double inconvenience. As two retirees over the age of 65, we are experiencing both financial and emotional losses in Turkey's economy. It is disappointing that a major airline like Turkish Airlines, which claims to be a global brand, has not addressed this issue.

A complaint review has been requested from Turkish Airlines (THY) without any response. THY has not made contact.
