Turkish Airlines Lost My Luggage Containing Medication
As a disabled individual with a report, my 8-year-old son and I arrived at Istanbul Airport from Düsseldorf on flight TK 1526 on 12.09.2023. Despite waiting for several minutes after our plane landed, one of my suitcases did not arrive on the belt. I immediately reported the situation to the THY lost baggage section at Istanbul Airport. Upon inspection, it was found that one of my suitcases did not have a baggage tag attached, and it was stated that this was due to an error by the THY staff in Düsseldorf. I was given a reference number ISTTK25004. Despite several days passing, I have not received any feedback. My lost suitcase contained medications that need to be stored in a cold environment, and I am unable to use my medications due to this loss. Over time, the medications may spoil due to improper storage conditions. Although I chose THY trusting its quality, this incident has caused me significant distress and health problems. When I called during this period, I was only informed that the investigation was ongoing. No further action was taken. Despite my special condition, no assistance was provided to me. I urgently request the resolution of my grievance and the complete return of my suitcase and its contents.
