Turkish Airlines Lost My Luggage and Provided Poor Service on Flight TK1524
My name is B**** and I would like to share a complaint regarding the service quality on your flight TK1524 from Düsseldorf to Istanbul on 15.11.2023.
Due to not receiving a baggage claim tag when I handed over my luggage, I now believe that my belongings, including a very special anniversary gift, were lost. I learned upon arrival in Istanbul that my checked luggage was not recorded in the system, which is why I did not receive a baggage claim tag. You can verify that my luggage was handed over by reviewing the camera footage at Düsseldorf Airport. Despite this unfortunate situation, your indifferent attitude has added to my distress.
I decided to upgrade my ticket class to use the large baggage allowance, but I was unable to benefit from this service, which was another disappointment. This situation highlights the inadequacy of your customer satisfaction approach.
When I applied to the Turkish Airlines lost baggage department, I was asked to take a number. I understand the necessity of this; however, I had to wait for hours because priority was given to people without a number. You should not provide service without issuing a number!
Due to the long wait and intense stress, I had to make compulsory purchases as I had no clothes left, and most importantly, the anniversary vacation I had planned with my spouse for months was negatively affected!
I demand that this issue be resolved immediately by returning my belongings or providing a satisfactory offer. Otherwise, I will share this negative experience on every platform.
