Honda Rejects Warranty Claim for Defective Michelin Bouncing Tires on New PCX 125

On February 26, 2026, I purchased a brand-new 2026 Honda PCX 125 Deluxe scooter from the Kocaeli Honda Haldız dealership. The scooter currently has 1,600 km on it. Since day one, I have felt significant bouncing and hopping, particularly around the 45–50 km/h speed range. This ruins my riding comfort, and I believe a new motorcycle should not have such an issue.
Due to this issue, I visited the Kocaeli Honda Haldız service center multiple times to explain the problem. After my repeated insistence, they measured the tires and found a runout of 1 mm on the front tire and 1.20 mm on the rear tire. Despite these findings, they informed me that Honda's warranty replacement threshold is 2 mm, so my request for a warranty replacement was rejected.
Following that rejection, I consulted two separate third-party tire shops. Both mechanics confirmed that the original factory-installed Michelin City Grip tires have a manufacturing defect. They found the wheel balance off by 25 grams, and even after rebalancing it to zero on their machines, the bouncing and hopping persisted. Their inspections clearly pointed to a factory tire defect.
This is my third PCX, and it is the first time I have encountered such a problem. This whole experience has severely damaged my trust in Honda. From a brand like Honda, I demand that this factory defect in the tires of my brand-new motorcycle be covered under warranty and that the defective tires be replaced free of charge as soon as possible.
I request that my grievance be resolved and that my claim not be turned down this time.
