Turkish Airlines Lost My Luggage But Didn't Compensate It

In July 2022, during my flight with THY to Nuremberg, Germany, my luggage was lost, and I filed a report. The next day, I had to attend a fair as an official before 9:00 AM and had around 20 meetings scheduled throughout the day, so I bought essential items. Despite all my fair entry times and meetings being recorded in the system, THY refuses to compensate me. In my first application to the Consumer Arbitration Committee, they stated that my expenses were discretionary. I reapplied with all official records, and this time they claimed they called me in the evening about my luggage, wanted to deliver it to my hotel, and I refused. The Euro exchange rate in July 2022 was around ₺10-11, and in August 2023, it was ₺28-30. The compensation offered only covers my taxi fare to and from the airport. Besides this false defense, I have been receiving constant promises of a response on social media (including Twitter and LinkedIn) for a year. When I write to the THY lost luggage department, they say they will transfer ₺4918 to my account if I provide my bank details. I spent a total of 550 Euros, which is now worth around ₺16-17 thousand. I declared that I would donate books to a school library with the refund and asked them to pay the difference in books. Given that THY lacks humanitarian feelings and is not in an earthquake zone, I am at a loss for words. I was advised to take legal action to get my payment. What should I do to claim my rights as a person?

I will use the payment I receive to establish a library, and this will be a school where children affected by earthquakes and war study. The library will be named after a child who studied at the school and lost their life in the earthquake. For 15 months, they have wanted to pay me 4900 TL, but my expenses are more than three times this amount. You can make your payment with books @THY@, please do not act more condescendingly. Furthermore, to avoid payment, you said to the Consumer Arbitration Committee that you called us to bring the suitcase, but the recipient did not accept it. If I were a foreign citizen, would you behave this way? You said go to court, while there is a 30 thousand lawyer fee?
